This is one of the most beautiful burl wood I have been lucky enough to have in many years. It’s grain and highly figured pattern is simply spectacular, each is a piece of are. Burl wood is very rare and not available often, especially at this show quality. A burl is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner is usually found on the trunk, at the base of the tree, and sometimes underground in the form of a rounded outgrowth. It is caused by some kind of stress, such as injury, virus, fungus, insect infestation or mold growth yielding the most spectacular figuring, patterns and colors you have ever seen.

Our bands are standard sizes with the width ranging from 4mm-8mm. The Antler bands range in size 4mm,6mm and 8mm wide. Most Wood band are 6mm and 8mm wide. The Color Sleeve bands are 4mm and 8mm. Please refer to each listing for all of the size options.
Damascus steel acquires its wavy surface design by hammer-welding strips of steel and iron, followed by repeated heating and forging to create a beautiful, durable band. The ring is then acid finished, which can darken parts of the steel, as well as produce a raised texture to the surface. Each Damascus ring has a unique design, truly making it one-of-a-kind. No two rings are alike!
